Decision Support Manager

We’re looking for a seasoned Decision Support Manager who is passionate about connecting data to business outcomes and crafting compelling stories that inspire action. Position Responsibilities:

  • Reporting & Business Performance Insights
  • Lead the delivery of recurring performance reporting (weekly/monthly) and executive-ready insights, including scorecards, dashboards, and narrative summaries.
  • Translate business questions into measurable metrics and analysis, highlighting trends, drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Design and maintain scalable reporting solutions (e.g., Power BI) with strong attention to data accuracy, controls, and usability.
  • Establish and maintain important metric definitions, business rules, and documentation to enable consistent, trusted reporting.
  • Support “source of truth” alignment across teams by strengthening data stewardship and governance routines.


Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and coaching for analysts (or operate as a player-coach depending on team structure), setting clear expectations for quality, timelines, and accountability.
  • Build strong relationships across stakeholders to manage intake, prioritize work, and ensure clear ownership.
  • Communicate complex findings in a simple, compelling way for leaders and diverse audiences.

  • Improve the quality and consistency of performance reporting through standardization and governance.
  • Provide leaders with decision-ready insights that drive measurable outcomes for customers and the business.


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, decision support, performance reporting, or related roles.
  • Strong experience delivering end-to-end reporting and insights
  • Self-starter and ability to independently lead analytics projects from ideation to impact.
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to distill complex data into simple, compelling narratives.
  • Demonstrates curiosity and a passion for digging into data to uncover root causes and emerging opportunities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles and how data drives operational and strategic decisions.


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Background in finance, accounting, or operations analytics.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data environments and data governance guidelines.
  • Experience in a large, matrixed organization (e.g., financial services or insurance) is an asset.

Working Arrangement

Salary range is expected to be between

$92,900.00 CAD - $142,900.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
