Your Impact 

 

As an Experienced Manager, you’ll make an impact by: 

Leading Debt Advisory Mandates 

  • Managing debt advisory and financing projects (with support from Director/Partner) and acting as the day-to-day point of contact for clients. 

  • Advising on and executing a range of debt transactions, including acquisition finance, leveraged finance, corporate refinancing, recapitalisations, growth financing and refinancing of existing facilities. 

Overseeing Transaction Execution 

  • Overseeing daily project management and delivery of debt and capital advisory transactions. 

  • Assuming responsibility for managing all phases of the financing cycle and deal execution, from initial options analysis through to lender approaches, negotiations and closing. 

Delivering High-Quality Client Materials 

  • Leading and managing the delivery of transaction documentation including lender information memoranda, financing proposals, pitch materials and client presentations. 

  • Contributing to thought leadership and marketing materials related to debt markets and financing solutions. 

Managing and Developing Teams 

  • Managing a team, wider support staff and other external advisers (such as banks, debt funds, law firms and other consultants). 

  • Supervising, coaching and reviewing the work of more junior team members. 

Supervising Financial Analysis & Modelling 

  • Supervising and reviewing financial analysis and complex financing and capital structure modelling carried out by the team members. 

  • Assessing debt capacity, covenant structures, pricing and other key financing terms to support clear client recommendations. 

 

  

About You  

  • You have a strong academic background. 
  • You have solid experience (at least 4 years) within debt and capital advisory with proven execution ability and origination skills across Belgium. 
  • On top of your strong numerical and analytical skills, you have also demonstrated sound strategic thinking skills with a clear understanding of capital structures and funding alternatives 
  • You have excellent report writing skills and can translate complex financing and modelling outputs into clear, client‑friendly materials. 
  • You are an independent thinker with the ability to identify problems and contribute to the development of financing solutions. 
  • You’re comfortable discussing financially related commercial topics. 
  • You have a strong affinity with Excel and financial modelling, and are comfortable building, challenging and reviewing complex models used for debt capacity analysis, covenant headroom, liquidity planning and transaction structuring. 
  • You have proven your ability to work on a range of projects simultaneously to demanding timetables in a transaction‑driven environment. 
  • You’re a highly motivated, ambitious self-starter willing to take advantage of the opportunities this position offers, but also a team player. 
  • Experience of working with small teams and managing people. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Commitment to high quality standards and detail-oriented person. 
  • Personal drive to deliver results.
