Deal Pricing Lead Finance Analyst

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Deal Pricing Lead Finance Analyst to support the Merchant Services business and be part of Wells Fargo’s broader Corporate & Investment Banking and Global Payments & Liquidity finance team.  This role will partner closely with the Merchant Services sales and relationship management organizations, providing consultation and recommendations with respect to customer pricing decisions in compliance with profit and risk guidelines.  Pricing decisions are based on analysis of prospective customer business metrics (i.e. sales volume, transactions, seasonality, etc.) and costs to the business in order to support pricing recommendations.


In this role, you will:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of Wells Fargo Merchant Services pricing strategies as decisions made will have a direct impact on ability to meet customer needs
  • Act as an advisor to large and complex client proposals with regard to pricing
  • Partner with product and technology functions to assist with the implementation and launch of new products, ensuring go to market pricing, exception and approval requirements are set appropriately
  • Maintain pricing tools and mitigate risk through execution and maintenance of pricing controls
  • Understand the regulation and compliance changes made by the Payment Networks and impacts to pricing analysis and strategies
  • Manage pricing risk through execution and maintenance of pricing controls
  • Identify and resolve pricing issues


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Pricing, Finance, Accounting, or Analytics within Merchant Services or broader financial services industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor by delivering complex deal‑pricing analytics and strategic insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills.
  • Self-starter with exceptional critical thinking skills combined with a strategic business focus; can formulate and implement solutions with minimal guidance.
  • Sense of urgency with ability to adapt to fast-changing priorities and timelines. Ability to balance urgency with quality, setting clear expectations.

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule from our Charlotte, NC location.
