DC Training Lead

Team Leadership & Supervision

Provide direct leadership and oversight of DC Resource Specialists, including assigning priorities, coordinating daily work activities, monitoring performance, and supporting employee development. Ensure consistent execution of training governance responsibilities across all operational areas.

Training Governance & Audit Readiness

Ensure all training records, evaluations, and documentation comply with Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Maintain audit readiness across the site(s) and proactively address documentation gaps, inconsistencies, or compliance risks.

Standard Work Ownership & Documentation Control

Oversee the development, review, implementation, and maintenance of Standard Work Instructions. Ensure documentation is accurate, current, clearly communicated, and aligned with operational execution, safety requirements, and system functionality.

Training Effectiveness & Competency Oversight

Ensure post-training evaluations are conducted consistently and effectively to verify competency and adherence to standard work. Monitor training outcomes and partner with Operations to address skill gaps, retraining needs, or performance risks.

Operational Coordination & Workforce Readiness

Coordinate training coverage and documentation priorities to support production requirements. Partner with Operations leadership to align workforce readiness with staffing levels, process changes, and performance expectations.

Engineering & Systems Support

Support labor measurement initiatives, including MOST-based time studies, and ensure training alignment with process or system changes. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate training impacts and usability.

Continuous Improvement Leadership

Support training-related improvement initiatives by guiding process observation, data collection, and validation of improvement outcomes. Ensure training materials and documentation reflect approved process changes.

Operational Support:
Assist Distribution Center Operations while maintaining primary responsibility for training documentation, evaluations, and standard work accuracy.

Ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices and maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready training records and documentation.

Standard Work Ownership & Training Effectiveness Oversight

Oversee SWI lifecycle management, competency validation, and training outcome monitoring to ensure standardized and effective process execution.

Operational Coordination & Cross-Functional Support

Align training coverage and workforce readiness with operational requirements, staffing needs, and process changes.


Assist Distribution Center Operations while maintaining primary accountability for training documentation, evaluations, and standard work accuracy.

Engineering Support & Continuous Improvement

Support labor measurement, UAT participation, and training alignment for process improvements and system implementations.

QUALIFICATIONS: Required qualifications needed in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.

Education/Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • MOST certification required within one (1) year of starting the role
  • Lean or Continuous Improvement certification preferred
  • Six Sigma certification (Yellow Belt or higher) preferred
  • Leadership or supervisory training preferred

Work Experience:

  • Experience in distribution center or warehouse operations
  • Experience maintaining training records and documentation in a regulated or audit-driven environment
  • Experience conducting training evaluations or competency assessments
  • Experience authoring or maintaining Standard Work Instructions or procedural documentation
  • Experience supporting process improvement or operational analysis initiatives

Skills/Competencies:

SPECIAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong working knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Ability to read, write, and clearly communicate in English
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Ability to accurately document processes and standards
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to interpret and apply standard work consistently
  • Strong observational and analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Training, Operations, and functional partners
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar documentation
