  • Identify, package, and sell integrated advertising opportunities across digital, print, newsletters, events, sponsorships, and emerging platforms in support of the Post’s B2B strategy

  • Contribute to the commercialization of new initiatives, helping shape offerings, products, and positioning as the DC franchise grows

  • Act as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders, translating market needs into advertising solutions and revenue opportunities

  • Operate autonomously as a senior individual contributor, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through close and renewal

  • Represent the Post credibly in DC, reinforcing the brand’s influence and relevance with key advertisers

  • Provide pipeline management, forecasting, and revenue updates to senior leadership

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of the Washington ecosystem, including agencies, corporations, associations, and advocacy groups

  • Established DC-based network with the ability to clearly articulate relationships, accounts, and successful campaigns

  • Experience operating as a senior individual contributor without local infrastructure or a large support team

  • Strong consultative sales approach with the ability to close complex, multi-platform deals

  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities, comfortable building and selling simultaneously

  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and energized by high-growth opportunities
