What You'll Be Doing
Perform preventative maintenance and repair on plant equipment to support reliable operation.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete needed adjustments or part replacements.
Inspect equipment for wear, damage, and potential hazards, documenting findings.
Collaborate with plant leadership and maintenance teams to prioritize work and minimize downtime.
Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow all safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements.
What We Are Looking For
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical systems, motors, conveyors, and related equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with safe use of tools, rigging, and lifting equipment.
Capability to interpret work orders, maintenance instructions, and basic technical information.
Commitment to safety, teamwork, and clear communication in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work in outdoor and industrial conditions and adapt to changing operational needs.
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
Work Environment
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
Physical Demands
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly as part of daily tasks.
Frequent standing, walking, climbing ladders, working at heights, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
Ability to work in tight or confined spaces when performing inspections or repairs.
Capability to operate hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment requiring manual dexterity.
Stamina to work extended periods on feet and perform physical tasks in varying weather conditions.
