Data Scientist

Job Summary
This position will report up through the Enterprise Data & Analytics Organization and function as a technical consultant in data science organization in order to: - Serve as an expert in translating complex data into key strategy insights and valuable actions - Discover insights from data and present them to other data scientists, business stakeholders, and leaders at various levels - Perform data exploration and data mining - Build impactful modeling solutions with AI and Machine Learning techniques

Essential Functions
  • Develop ML, AI and statistical models that create value for the organization.
  • Work in Project Teams and participate in multidisciplinary analytics project teams.
  • Support senior and lead data scientists in creating recommendations that are practical, actionable, and have material impact, in addition to being well-supported by analytical models and data.
  • Locate new data sources, analyze statistics and implement quality procedures.
  • Perform data studies of new and diverse data sources.
  • Collaborates with Business Clients, establish professional relationships in order to understand business needs


  • Required Qualifications For Position
  • Bachelor's Degree in statistics/analytics, economics, physics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or related work experience
  • 1-3 years of experience with statistics, data modeling and reporting
  • Knowledge of database languages (e.g. SQL) and statistical/programming languages (e.g. Python, R)
  • Knowledge of predictive modeling techniques
  • Knowledge of statistics, machine learning, algorithms and advanced mathematics
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as ability to bridge gap between data science and business management

    Salary Range*:

    $96,600.00 - $144,900.00

    *The salary offered to a candidate is based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, job-related knowledge, and relevant experience, as well as internal pay equity.
