In this role you will:

  • Develop and deliver high quality, analytics and insights using ML and statistical models to uncover business learnings for the US commercial business at the patient, HCP/EE segment, and health system level aligned with analytical priorities for:

    • Customer Segmentation

    • Impact Measurement

    • Omnichannel analytics

    • Resource Allocation and budget Optimization

    • Experimental design (test/control) analyses

  • Act as a data science expert, by learning and contributing to GSKs’ data science community to grow their data skills, build best practices, and grow data science literacy within the organization

  • Earn the trust of stakeholder partners to drive data-driven decisions through active engagement, advanced analytics expertise, demonstrated learning, and business knowledge.

  • Establish and define project plans, proactively seek inputs needed to complete results according to plan and deliver milestones according to plan.

  • Collaborate on cross-matrix teams and demonstrate subject matter expertise with other teams/functions to drive efficiencies and seamless decision making.

  • Use storytelling, powerful visualizations to demonstrate power of utilizing data science with business partners and analytics team members which enable fact-based recommendations that inspire usage for data driven decisions

Why you?

Required qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data science, mathematics, computer science or a related field

  • 4+ years of demonstrable experience in data analytics and technical work

  • Strong coding experience in Python, Pyspark and/or SQL programming and proficiency in visualization tools

  • Excellent problem solving and data analysis skills.

  • Comprehensive experience in retrieving, exploring, and analysing data using ML methods like regression, clustering, ANCOVA, etc.,

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in pharma commercial domain

  • Understanding of IQVIA Claims, APLD, LAAD, XPO, marketing and sales datasets

  • Analytic curiosity to develop innovative solutions to solve complex problems

  • Understanding of business needs and ability to develop appropriate solutions

  • Demonstrate teamwork and strong collaborative partnerships
