JOB POSITION
Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Lead – People Analytics (Talent Insights) to drive advanced people analytics, data science, and predictive insights across the enterprise.
The Lead – People Analytics is responsible for designing and delivering advanced analytics, predictive models, and data-driven insights that support strategic HR and business decision-making. This role combines HR domain expertise with data science, statistical modeling, and visualization capabilities to translate complex workforce data into actionable insights.
The role partners closely with HR, Talent, Workforce Strategy, HRIT, and Business Leaders to enable evidence-based decisions across workforce planning, talent management, DEI, engagement, learning, performance, and retention.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
Lead enterprise-level people analytics initiatives across workforce, talent, DEI, learning, performance, engagement, retention, and succession
Partner with HRIT and data engineering teams to automate data ingestion and pipelines into Workday Prism, AWS data lake, and analytics platforms
Design, build, and maintain predictive and statistical models (e.g., attrition risk, flight risk, hiring demand, promotion readiness, workforce supply/demand) using Python or R
Apply advanced statistical techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, survival analysis, and time-series modeling to HR data
Integrate Workday and non-Workday data sources to enable comprehensive people analytics solutions
Ensure data quality, governance, and reliability across all analytics outputs
Develop advanced dashboards, visualizations, and analytics products using Power BI and Tableau to support leadership decision-making
Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights and executive-level narratives
Support AI-driven and automation initiatives leveraging GenAI, Spark, SLIP, and related technologies
Mentor and guide team members to elevate overall people analytics and data science maturity
Partner with onshore and offshore teams to lead and deliver analytics projects end-to-end
Identify opportunities to move the organization from descriptive to predictive and prescriptive analytics
QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, HR Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
Formal training or coursework in statistics, machine learning, or analytics preferred
EXPERIENCE
5–8 years of relevant experience in People Analytics, HR Analytics, Data Science, or Workforce Analytics
Proven experience applying predictive modeling and statistical analysis to HR or workforce data
Hands-on experience working with large, complex HR datasets across multiple HR domains
Experience partnering with HR, Talent, Workforce Planning, and Business Leaders
Experience delivering analytics solutions at an enterprise or global scale
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Strong understanding of HR processes, workforce metrics, and talent analytics
Experience analyzing workforce trends related to attrition, mobility, performance, engagement, DEI, and succession
Data Science & Statistical Modeling
Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, modeling, and automation
Experience with statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning techniques
Ability to design and interpret models that inform workforce and talent decisions
Visualization & Storytelling
Advanced skills in Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
Ability to translate complex analytical outputs into intuitive dashboards and executive-ready insights
Data Engineering & Platforms
Experience working with Workday, Workday Prism Analytics, and HR data ecosystems
Familiarity with AWS data lake architectures, ETL processes, and data transformation

Strong stakeholder management and consulting mindset
Ability to influence decisions using data-driven insights
