As a manager of the CutOver team, you will be part of the core team responsible for the strategy of the migration processes.

Your responsibilities will range from actively defining processes, guidelines and implementing technical frameworks to provide data efficiently and responsibly. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to collaborate with various stakeholders.

As part of your role, you will gain a thorough understanding of migration processes Extraction, Transformation, Load and Reconciliation (ETLR). Deutsche Bank is investing heavily in optimizing our business processes and regulatory outcomes by using data in the best ways possible on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and you will be directly shaping the strategy to do so.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively coordinating efforts that span across multiple business divisions and stakeholders as a thought leading Project/Programme Manager
  • Setting and overseeing the execution of the delivery plan, standards & strategy, 
  • Cutover plan design Level 2, status reporting, strategy & plan (including rollback)  
  • Delivery roadmap and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) at Divisional/Functional and project level
  • Overseeing Runbook standards, delivery monitoring
  • Managing and overseeing migration events as Trial Migrations, Dress Rehearsal & Go live execution
  • Developing roadmaps together with the architect to enable transition to the target estate
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, including business leaders, product owners, and developers, to gather requirements and work hand in hand with Lead Arhitect; considering factors like scalability, performance, reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness;
  • Acting as a bridge between Extract teams and Target teams

Skills Requirements

  • Prior Migration left to right knowledge (ETLR)
  • 3+ years previous experience in mentoring management / organizations, and coaching agile squads team members, scrum masters & product owners
  • 3+ years exposure to large organizational transformations is required.
  • 2+ years experience in full development life cycle.
  • Deep understanding of process lifecycle flows
  • Thorough understanding of technical requirements to provision data and standard pathways
  • A project management approach to taking on tasks, completing them in a structured way with an eye to either automating or improving processes
  • Data analysis: ability to investigate and present details of lineage, completeness, and transformations performed upon data via flows and processes
  • Knowledge of strategic IT solutions and knowledge in software development.
  • Understanding of best practices in the IT industry.
  • Experience of working in an agile environment, practicing Scrum, Kanban, XP or SAFe
  • Excellent understanding of client/user needs, business dynamics and key challenges and how these drive potential solutions
  • Experience in identifying inefficiencies in the value chain and processes, designing solutions and implementing the solution with the support from all relevant stakeholders
  • Experience in change management activities to increase user adoption and hands-on ideas for adoption support
  • Capable to connect the dots beyond own focus area considering end to end processes
  • Able to coordinate prioritization in a complex multi-geographical context
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and fast changing environments
  • Proven work experience as project/programme manager, or equivalent position
