The Contra Finance team is currently looking to hire a Data lead - Contra Design and Transformation (specialized in Financial Claims and Channel Data), who will support the Contra Transformation project, build the new Contra accrual solution and lead all data elements of the project. In this role you will also ensure ongoing support to Finance community related to Financial Claims analytics, PBI reporting, data quality, enhancements, as well as channel data accuracy for contra reserves adequacy purposes.
Responsibilities:
Analyzes processes and proposes new design solutions to manage contra revenue financial accrual process globally in consistent and compliant way
Leads and advises on the complex business initiatives, systems changes or new implementations.
Drives process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function globally.
Represents the business unit during cross-regional or cross- functional projects.
Cooperates across functions to deliver best in class products – discusses complex matters with IT translating finance/ business requirements into IT language. Participates in design, build and testing of new solution.
Leads new systems, tools and processes implementation including Management of Change process.
Supports audits and audit requirements around contra revenue, ensures process documentation and trainings content is up to date.
Periodically, supports data and systems reconciliations, builds analytical solution to support executive reporting.
Document future data requirements and data maps to support the future Contra solution
Present project aspects to senior management and support all MOC aspects of the project
Education and Experience Required:
Prior experience in working on Contra or Channel Finance is a plus
Experience in data elements in S4, excellent data and systems skills
Project management experience
Fair knowledge of multiple systems and data availability across HP systems
Ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously
First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred
Typically 6+ years of experience as a financial or systems analyst
Typically experienced in more than one finance function
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis, with advanced knowledge in one area
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PBI, S4, ODW)
JIRA/ Testrail experience is a plus
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Superior teamwork skills
Good project management skills
We offer:
The base pay range for this role is 142900 PLN gross to 216600 PLN gross annually with additional cash compensation opportunities in the form of annual cash incentive bonuses. In addition, this role may be eligible for equity awards (typically granted in the form of restricted stock units) that are independently granted by the Company’s U.S. parent corporation, HP Inc., on a discretionary basis under its equity plan. Pay varies by job-related skills, effort, responsibility, working conditions, experience and work location.
