CAE’s Data Integrity & Business Intelligence team is seeking a Data Integrity Specialist to support data‑related components of business projects across the organization. This role is ideal for someone with strong data literacy, excellent analytical capability, and growing experience in project delivery.
Key expectations include:
Act as the data representative on assigned projects.
Ask insightful questions to clarify scope and data dependencies.
Translate business needs into clear, actionable data requirements.
Provide regular updates to ensure all data‑related milestones remain on track.
Analyze project data to identify quality and integrity issues, evaluate their scale and impact, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
Collaborate with business SMEs and technical teams to coordinate corrections, support process documentation, improve workflows, and ensure strong communication regarding findings and next steps.
Monitor data quality metrics, identify trends or recurring issues, and follow established governance practices when performing data updates or corrections.
Prepare clear summaries and presentations to communicate progress, decisions, action items, and outcomes
- Must understand how to interpret data, verify data quality, and identify data needs required by business units.
- Role involves collaboration with various business units to clarify data requirements for active projects.
- High level of attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills required.
- Experience with SQL and Python strongly preferred; ability to review and build queries is valuable.
- Strong email quality, clarity, and business‑minded communication expected.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience working with data in a business or operational context.
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to confidently engage with stakeholders and ask clarifying questions.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within project teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Familiarity with data‑storytelling principles and analytics tools (SQL, Python, Power BI, or equivalents).
- Ability to extract meaningful insights from data to support project decision‑making
- Ability to interpret data accurately and validate data quality.
- Strong communication skills, including producing clear, concise email communication.
- Capable of working across business units to understand project‑related data needs.
- Strong organizational skills and focus on accuracy when reviewing data sources.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in project delivery, especially within data‑focused initiatives.
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of CAE customer operations (accounts, reservations, check‑in).
- Knowledge of CAE data landscape and typical data challenges.
- Willingness to engage in data governance discussions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure platform.
- SQL coding capability and Python scripting ability.
- Analytical mindset with capacity to match business needs to data logic.
- Experience collaborating across technical and business teams.
