The Position

The Global Analytics and Technology Center of Excellence (GATE) was established to drive analytics and technology-driven solutions by partnering with Roche affiliates across the globe.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Analyst in Data & Insights Enablement, you will join the GATE team to manage critical data contracts, third-party agreements (TPA), and related finance and budgetary processes.

In this role, you will act as a key liaison between US business partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Your mission is to ensure the efficient, compliant, and timely execution of all data agreements, with a specific focus on the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences domain.

 

Key Responsibilities

Contract & Agreement Management

  • Lifecycle Management: Manage Data Contracts and TPAs from initiation to completion by coordinating with teams like Procurement and Legal.
  • Vendor Onboarding: Lead vendor onboarding by working with the Vendor Master Data team for approvals and setup.
  • Compliance: Validate use cases and data sources for TPAs to prevent discrepancies or unauthorized access.
  • System Administration: Ensure documents are accurately processed and workflows executed smoothly.
  • Issue Resolution: Address TPA process-related issues through effective daily communication.

Financial & Budget Operations

  • Budget Tracking: Maintain contract and budget tracking sheets to monitor statuses and expenditures against metrics.
  • Reconciliation: Resolve discrepancies in Purchase Order (PO) amounts, perform data validation, and manage year-wise accruals for extended contracts.
  • Procurement Coordination: Collaborate with the Procurement team to secure POs and manage contract processing.
  • WBS Management: Submit and process SMART Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) codes and Change Orders for multi-split contracts as needed.
  • Reporting: Create detailed finance reports and address ad hoc inquiries promptly.

Data & Process Optimization

  • Process Improvement: Document workflows and identify areas for optimization in contract operations.
  • Data Analysis: Perform gap analyses, assessments, and ad hoc data analytics to extract valuable insights.
  • Strategic Reporting: Present recommendations and improvement proposals to senior management.
  • Inquiry Handling: Manage incoming data inquiries and implement solutions efficiently.

 

Who You Are

Experience

  • Professional Background: 4+ years in Business Analyst, Finance Operations, or Contracts Management roles.
  • Contract Management: Extensive experience in handling and processing Data Contracts and TPAs with a process-oriented focus.
  • Forecasting: Proven ability to predict financial trends using historical data.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in Pharma, Life Sciences, or Biotech domains is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging senior leaders and diverse stakeholders professionally.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in data validation, analysis, and financial/contract management systems such as myBuy.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments.

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related fields.
