Data Entry Coordinator

We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Data Entry Coordinator to update and maintain information on our company databases and computer systems in support of our Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP).

The HR Data Entry Coordinator responsibilities include collecting and entering data in databases and maintaining accurate records of valuable company information. Our ideal candidate has essential data entry skills, like fast typing with an eye for detail and familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms. Previous experience as a Data Entry Coordinator or similar position will be considered an advantage.

Ultimately, a successful HR Data Entry Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining accurate, up-to-date and useable information in our systems.

Let’s talk job responsibilities:

  • Enter customer and account information by inputting text and numbers from source documents within time limits.
  • Collect, verify, and organize data according to priority for accurate computer entry.
  • Review data for errors or deficiencies, correct issues when possible, and verify accuracy of outputs.
  • Investigate and obtain missing information for incomplete documents.
  • Apply established data entry procedures and techniques efficiently.
  • Generate reports, save completed work in designated locations, and perform regular backup operations.
  • Scan documents and print files as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.
  • Respond promptly to information requests and grant access to relevant files as needed.
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies, monitor data quality, and ensure proper use of office equipment

Your experience and skills:

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrates a positive, trustworthy, and professional attitude at work
  • Flexible and able to adapt to new tasks or projects as needed
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills to handle multiple responsibilities
  • Consistently punctual, reliable, and completes tasks on time
  • Clear communication abilities, both verbal and written, with attention to detail in data entry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); experience with Workday is a plus
