Reporting to the Data Spoke Manager and located in Colombia, the data Engineer is a data flow expert and uses his/her skills to be an active contributor to the data transformation lead by the global Data Competence Center. He/she is part of the Data Community.
What you’ll be doing:
As a Data Engineer, your main role in the organization is to build and set up data solutions.
Being a member of a data team, you will follow IT architecture & Security guidance and practices, and will be responsible for building dedicated data flows and processes to:
• Ingest data into the company data platform
• Enhance data quality following Data Governance principles
• Ensure compliance with data protection law
• Automate data computations (for Business intelligence and Machine learning purposes)
• Feed operational system used by end users (Marketing, CRM, Sales solutions)
As a data specialist, you will implement cost efficient and industrialized data jobs on a hybrid infrastructure (on premise / cloud) mixing several technologies: Rest API, SQL & NoSQL databases, batch and files… with different latencies (from batch to Realtime).
Being a member of the worldwide data community, you will need to actively participate to global projects involving your country: global data platform design and evolution, subsidiary data feedback processes, agile squad features tracking and coordination meeting and stand-up.

Education Requirements:
Master’s degree in Computer Science or Data Engineering or equivalent
Work Experience Requirements:
• At least 2 years building and managing ETL and ELT processes;
• Advanced knowledge of data lake and data warehouse for analytical and operational purposes;
• Experience in working transversally in an international company and in an agile organization;
