These big, fast growing, volumes of data can only be used effectively when the data can be transformed into information, for which it needs to be correct, accurate, appropriate, complete, on time and consistent. That is why we are hiring Data Engineer in Czechia now.
Your impact at NN
The mission you will join is all about the development of a standardized data platform for Finance and Risk departments, with ready-to-use reporting and analysis data, which will provide us one single source of truth. This tool is developed on NN Microsoft Azure Cloud broader platform.
The tasks you will perform
Develop and maintain the data platform architecture itself.
Manage data ingestion, transformation and loading for Finance and Risk analytics.
Develop, maintain, and test CI/CD pipelines to enhance overall automation processes.
Communicate with all necessary technical and non-technical international stakeholders.
Collaborate, communicate, and share knowledge with other data colleagues to enhance and create new data products and tools within NN.
The knowledge and experience you bring
You are proficient in Azure and its data services tools, and Databricks, as well as Python.
Working in Agile environment within a corporate company, is nothing new to you.
You are comfortable managing end-to-end data workflows, from ingestion to loading, and have hands-on experience with building and maintaining data pipelines.
Communication with various technical and non-technical stakeholders in English comes naturally to you.
Familiarity with the financial industry is a plus, and hands-on experience is even better.

The selection process usually includes two interview rounds, most often online. If an in-person meeting is needed, we’ll let you know in advance. In the first round, you’ll meet Petra and Marian, Data and BI Engineering Team Lead. The second round typically involves key stakeholders, often colleagues from our headquarters in the Netherlands.
