Data Engineer - Data Quality

  • Design and implement efficient data products to support data processing and analytics needs.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines. Drive data product implementations.
  • Responsible for integrating data from various source systems and processing it into final datasets that can be utilized by different data products.
  • Gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions, plan, estimate and deliver small-mid size projects, according to aligned roadmaps. Proactively providing updates and collaborate closely with the team
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data engineers and other stakeholders to deliver data solutions that drive insights and support business needs.
  • Analyze data to calculate business KPIs, enhance insights generation through advanced analytics methods, and deliver these insights via an appealing front-end interface.
  • Automate repetitive data tasks (testing, deployment, etc.), implement monitoring solutions, and support the production environment to ensure smooth data operations.
  • Follow data governance practices, ensuring data security, privacy, and compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR).
  • Actively collaborate with data communities, providing best practices and driving enablement to foster a culture of data-driven decision making.

  • An excellent university degree in business informatics, business administration, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or in a related field
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in data engineering, including working with large-scale data processing and management systems
  • Experience with Python, SQL, Pyspark and DevOps implementation (Azure Devops, Jenkins)
  • Experience with Power BI is a strong plus (or experience with similar data visualization tool)
  • Design and engineering of cloud-based data solutions, preferably Azure Cloud
  • Experience in design and implementation of data pipelines by following and ensuring industry standards and best practices.
  • Experience in clean, maintainable, and efficient code development
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Good team player and collaborator with an ability of helping and empowering others
