Data and AI Solutions Architect, Lead

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Lead Data and AI Solutions Architect to strengthen our technical solutioning, delivery architecture, and growth capabilities across Navy accounts. This role is intended for a senior technical leader who can bridge strategy, architecture, delivery, and business development. The ideal candidate will help shape data, analytics, cloud, AI/ML, and MLOps solutions for larger client opportunities while also improving the technical foundations of active delivery work.

The organization has strong data science capability today, but needs deeper architecture and solutioning expertise to pursue larger opportunities, deliver more complete solutions, improve technical design quality, and build reusable offerings that can scale across accounts.

You will work closely with account leaders, capture teams, proposal teams, program managers, data scientists, data engineers, cloud engineers, and client stakeholders to define practical, technically-sound solutions that are executable in federal environments.

What You’ll Work On:

  • Lead the design of end-to-end data, analytics, cloud, AI/ML, and MLOps solutions for Navy clients.
  • Translate client mission needs, business problems, and technical constraints into scalable solution architectures.
  • Define target-state architectures, integration patterns, data flows, platform recommendations, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Review and improve technical designs across active projects to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned to client needs.
  • Establish reusable technical standards, reference architectures, delivery patterns, and best practices across data and AI engagements.
  • Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams, including data scientists, data engineers, BI developers, cloud engineers, and program delivery staff.
  • Identify technical risks early and recommend practical mitigation strategies.
  • Support capture and proposal efforts by shaping technical solutions for new and recompete opportunities.
  • Develop solution approaches, technical volumes, staffing models, cost estimates, implementation plans, and architecture narratives.
  • Partner with account and growth teams to identify expansion opportunities within existing Navy accounts.
  • Help convert client pain points into credible solution offerings and delivery concepts.
  • Build reusable solution offerings, accelerators, and architecture patterns that can be leveraged across multiple pursuits.
  • Participate in client discussions, solutioning workshops, technical exchanges, and verbal presentations, as needed.
  • Strengthen technical delivery by improving architecture discipline, design review processes, and implementation standards.
  • Help teams move from point solutions to more complete, enterprise-ready capabilities.
  • Provide guidance on data pipelines, cloud data platforms, ETL/ELT, analytics environments, MLOps, APIs, and AI/ML deployment patterns.
  • Support delivery teams in making appropriate tradeoffs across cost, timeline, security, scalability, maintainability, and mission impact.
  • Mentor technical staff and help grow architecture and solutioning depth across the team.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

  • Experience supporting technical solutioning for proposals, captures, growth opportunities, or client expansion efforts
  • Experience reviewing technical designs and advising delivery teams on architecture improvements
  • Knowledge of data architecture, cloud architecture, data engineering, analytics platforms, and AI/ML solution patterns
  • Ability to estimate technical level of effort, staffing needs, delivery timelines, and implementation tradeoffs
  • Ability to operate across delivery, growth, and leadership contexts
