The Opportunity 

You’re joining at a pivotal moment in The Trade Desk’s growth across ANZ and the wider APAC region, stepping into a newly established, high-growth function 'Growth Team’ specifically tasked to identify, sign and onboard high potential new business opportunitiesdesigned to unlock a significant new commercial growth engine.   

As a new team, you’ll support the SVP – Growth to lay the foundations for sustained success, building out systems, processes and ways of working that accelerate the acquisition and on ramp of New Business.

What you’ll do 

  • PIPELINE DEVELOPMENT: Build and cultivate a deep pipeline of high value prospects and strategic relationships with commercial and contract leads across advertising clients. 
  • RESPONSE TO BRIEF: Lead RFP responses end-to-end, including qualification, strategy development, commercial structuring, contract negotiation and execution 
  • ACCELERATE SALES PIPELINE: Think creatively, unblock problems and build strong cross-functional relationships across The Trade Desk to mobilise internal expertise that keeps deals moving forward.  
  • SUPPORT CLIENT ONBOARDING: Work in partnership with Client Services team to set new business up for success post execution of the MSA. Execute a high-quality discovery process to deeply understand client needs, setting new advertisers up for accelerated onboarding through tailored support and solutions. 
  • THOUGHT LEADERSHIP: Position The Trade Desk as a thought leader at the forefront of data driven advertising, and leverage that positioning to enhance new client prospecting.  
  • LEAD MANAGEMENT: Effectively support The Trade Desk’s lead management process, qualifying leads and identifying the optimal support model to onboard new business either via a direct partnership or via a third party reseller  
  • Clearly articulate The Trade Desk’s media buying philosophy and platform value, tailoring narratives to each client’s priorities 
  • Partner closely with global Sales, Client Services, and Trading teams to grow and scale a focused portfolio of accounts  
  • Identify and convert strategic upsell opportunities by deeply understanding client needs and mapping them to platform capabilities  
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and revenue teams to continuously optimise performance against company goals  

What you bring to the table

  • A clear point of view on the forces shaping the future of data driven marketing. 
  • Deep understanding and curiosity for the programmatic ecosystem with a strong learning mindset.  
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, compelling commercial narratives 
  • Relentless optimism and a passion for client success. 
  • 10 to 12 years’ experience in digital advertising sales, consistently exceeding revenue targets  
  • Strong background in programmatic or adjacent digital media environments (DSPs, SSPs, publishers, exchanges, or similar)  
  • Proven ability to build and close complex, senior-level commercial deals  
  • Established relationships with decision-makers across major advertisers  
  • Experience building annual business plans, leading QBRs, and driving structured account growth  
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and quantitative capability  
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders  
  • Highly collaborative, able to align cross-functional teams toward shared outcomes
