Data Analyst
The Biosensor Team is seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst to join our multidisciplinary group focused on developing a portfolio of novel biosensing products for a range of medical applications, including point-of-care diagnostics and therapeutics. These products are being developed to enable a new business franchise within the Digital Healthcare Business Unit at Analog Devices.
The selected candidate will develop a thorough understanding of biosensor products and their applications. They will play a vital role in development of software-based tools and dashboards that empower engineers and scientists to efficiently analyze and report on data generated during the development and testing of biosensor devices. The insights derived will be critical in evaluating device performance against customer requirements and ensuring consistent analysis methodologies across the team. The analyst will collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop these robust processes and tools for data management and reporting, supporting both new product development and post-release activities.
Roles & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
Develop and maintain standardized data analysis methodologies and tools for use across a team of engineers and scientists.
Collaborate with the Algorithms Development Team to integrate machine learning models for data conditioning and performance parameter extraction.
Build interactive dashboards and software tools to visualize sensor performance metrics and support decision-making.
Work closely with Sensor Design, Test and Reliability Teams to analyze data from device characterization, reliability testing, qualification, and design verification.
Support the development and implementation of processes for monitoring and reporting yield performance of components and final products in production.
Interface with the Test Development Team and Contract Manufacturing partners to ensure robust data collection and analysis pipelines.
Help develop and implement the appropriate process and procedures for data storage and traceability of all product related data & information. This includes test data, inspection images etc.
Document analysis results and present findings to cross-functional teams and leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required:
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Data Science, Chemistry, Physics, Electrochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or related disciplines.
5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in medical device or scientific product development.
Hands-on experience in laboratory testing environments and electronic device testing.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, JMP, SQL, and visualization platforms like Power BI.
Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data modelling.
Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Desired:
Experience with biosensors or electrochemical sensors.
Familiarity with ISO 13485 and medical device regulatory standards.
Experience with yield analysis and production data monitoring.
Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their application in sensor data analysis.
