The Role & the Team

To support the growth of our Health & Pharma Solutions Business Unit, we are looking for an Account Manager DACH (M/F).

In this role you would be reporting to the Sales Manager NorthWest Europe.
Based in Germany, Austria or BENELUX you will manage and develop customer relationships with local, key and global accounts in the DACH (Deutschland, Austria, Switzerland) territory, drive sales and pipeline growth, and support Roquette’s commercial strategy.

You will work closely with Global and Key Account Managers, Technical Developers, Customer Care, Inside Sales, PLM, Pricing and Marketing teams.

Our commercial teams support pharmaceutical and nutraceutical customers across Europe by combining market knowledge, technical expertise, and customer centricity.
They work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment to ensure strong customer partnerships and sustainable business growth.

Your daily mission?

As our Account Manager DACH, you will develop strong long-term partnerships with key customers, identify new business opportunities, and drive revenue and gross margin growth across the territory.
You’ll be the face of Roquette for pharma & nutraceutical clients, promoting our innovative solutions and ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.

Your Experience and Talents Will Make the Difference in:

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
  • Understand customer needs and ensure our solutions meet expectations.

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities.
  • Promote Roquette’s portfolio, including new product introductions.
  • Attend scientific and commercial events.

Revenue Growth & Commercial Excellence

  • Meet or exceed sales and gross margin targets.
  • Manage pricing strategies with the Pricing team.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Technical & Market Support

  • Provide and coordinate technical support to customers in collaboration with Technical Developers.
  • Compile market intelligence: trends, regulatory changes and competitor activities
  • Share insights to support marketing and product strategy development

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with Marketing, PLMs, Technical Developers and Customer Care.
  • Ensure accurate CRM documentation and regular reporting.

And Also…

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences or similar (Master/Engineer Diploma/PhD preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales or Business Development in Pharma, Life Sciences or Chemical Ingredients.
  • Experience in pharma R&D or Regulatory is a strong advantage.
  • Proven sales growth and value delivery track record
  • Established pharma industry network

Skills

  • Strong understanding of pharma/nutraceutical markets and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or Qlik is a plus.

Languages & Requirements

  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, depending on the final customer portfolio
  • Valid driver’s license
