D365 Product Owner

DNK - VALBY Full time

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to help drive the post go-live evolution of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Treasury capabilities for one of our biggest clients, with a core focus on loans and collections. You will own the roadmap and backlog, translate business needs into deliverable requirements, and work closely with stakeholders, functional consultants and technical teams to improve stability, compliance, and user value.

About the role

  • Own and continuously refine the product vision, roadmap and backlog for Treasury processes (loans, interest, repayment schedules, dunning and collections).
  • Prioritize enhancements, defects and technical debt based on risk, compliance impact and business value.
  • Ensure solutions fit the D365 Finance template and the ELO operating model in a controlled, auditable way.

Key responsibilities

Lead discovery with business and compliance stakeholders; turn needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and release plans.

  • Run/participate in Agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, reviews) and align delivery across functional and technical teams.
  • Coordinate UAT, regression testing and go-live readiness for changes impacting treasury, loans and collections.
  • Manage incidents and service improvements in post go-live operations; drive root-cause analysis and permanent fixes.
  • Own documentation and controls around configuration, data, roles and audit requirements in the area.
  • Collaborate on integrations and reporting (e.g., banking interfaces, downstream finance reporting, Power BI) to improve transparency and decision support.

Required qualifications & experience

Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, IT, or similar.

  • Solid hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance (functional/process understanding; ability to work with configuration, workflows and change control).
  • Strong understanding of treasury processes, particularly loans and collections (interest, repayment schedules, dunning/overdue management, reconciliations and reporting).
  • Proven Product Owner (or similar) experience: backlog ownership, prioritization, stakeholder management and delivery follow-through.
  • Experience working in regulated environments with strong focus on controls, auditability, data access and compliance.
  • Fluent Danish (spoken and written) and strong professional English.

Nice to have

Experience with Axnosis TMS and/or GRC capabilities within the D365 landscape (or similar treasury/GRC solutions).

  • Experience with D365 integrations, Data Management Framework (DMF), Electronic Reporting, and/or banking interfaces.
  • Power Platform experience (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) for reporting and workflow automation.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate) or relevant accounting qualification (CPA/CA or equivalent).

Working context

  • Post go-live role with a strong focus on stabilization, continuous improvement and controlled change.
  • Close collaboration with business owners, operations, compliance, and delivery teams across the program.
  • Work includes both functional process ownership and coordination of technical delivery (without being a developer role).

Application

Please apply with your CV and a short motivation describing your experience with D365 Finance and treasury/collections processes. Include examples of how you have owned a backlog, driven prioritization, and delivered improvements in a regulated environment.
