Your Opportunity
This role leads the strategic evolution of client ERP environments by architecting scalable, financially sound, AI-enabled solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
As a Senior Consultant, you will serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs and executive leadership teams, guiding financial architecture, cost accounting design, industry optimization, and AI adoption strategy. This role requires CPA-level financial rigor, strong executive presence, and the ability to operate independently while leading complex engagements. This is a replacement role.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Strategic Client Advisory & Financial Leadership
Serve as primary advisor to CFOs, Controllers, and executive stakeholders.
Lead financial process assessments including:
Cost accounting methodologies
Standard and actual costing
Inventory valuation models
Manufacturing cost structures and variance analysis
Budgeting and forecasting processes
Align ERP architecture with financial controls, compliance requirements, and reporting accuracy.
Design multi-entity and consolidated reporting strategies.
Industry & Solution Architecture
Act as subject matter expert in industries such as:
Manufacturing
Distribution & Inventory
Financial Services
Architect scalable Business Central environments aligned to industry best practices.
Evaluate and integrate industry-specific ISV solutions.
Oversee complex enhancements and cross-functional solution design.
AI Strategy & Commercialization
Lead AI strategy discussions with executive stakeholders.
Architect implementations of:
Microsoft Copilot
Business Central Agents
AI-driven financial and operational analytics
Design AI-enabled service offerings that deliver measurable ROI.
Establish governance frameworks for AI security, compliance, and responsible financial reporting.
Mentor team members on evolving AI capabilities.
Service Offering Development & Growth
Design and refine structured service offerings such as:
Financial health & costing optimization reviews
Telemetry-driven executive dashboards
AI readiness assessments
Develop KPIs tied to operational and financial performance.
Support account expansion and proposal initiatives.
Oversight & Mentorship
Serve as escalation point for complex financial and architectural matters.
Review solution designs to ensure financial accuracy and scalability.
Mentor Consultants within Managed Services.
Promote best practices across the practice.

Your experience and education
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Certification (Required).
CPA designation (Required).
7+ years ERP consulting experience, with 5+ years in NAV/Business Central.
Advanced expertise in cost accounting and financial process design.
Experience leading industry-focused ERP engagements.
Strong knowledge of:
Manufacturing and inventory costing models
Multi-entity financial environments
Compliance and internal controls
Experience architecting Copilot and Business Central Agent solutions.
Strong executive presence and stakeholder management capability.
Preferred
Additional Microsoft certifications.
Experience designing managed services offerings.
Experience contributing to industry solution development or IP initiatives.
The annual compensation for this opportunity is $84,000 to $128,000.
