Job Responsibilities
Design and implement security controls across cloud and hybrid environments
Lead security architecture reviews for major initiatives
Improve secure design patterns across infrastructure and applications
Build and tune SIEM detections and threat monitoring capabilities
Lead complex investigations and support incident response
Strengthen threat detection and automation workflows
Implement and optimize security controls in Azure and/or AWS
Partner with infrastructure and DevOps teams to embed security in cloud and CI/CD environments
Improve identity, endpoint, and network security posture
Develop scripts and integrations (Python, PowerShell, APIs)
Drive security automation to reduce manual effort and improve response time
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
Contribute to security standards and roadmap initiatives
Requirements
Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity engineering or security architecture
Strong hands-on experience implementing enterprise security controls
Cloud security experience (Azure and/or AWS)
Experience with SIEM, detection engineering, and incident response
Scripting and automation skills
Understanding of modern security frameworks (NIST, CIS, Zero Trust)
Network, endpoint, and identity security knowledge
Strong troubleshooting and analytical ability
Clear communication and collaborative mindset

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For New York residents, the compensation range for this position: $139,000 - $163,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
