Job Description:
12+ years of hands-on experience on CyberLife. We need highly skilled, self-driven CyberLife analysts/leads having an understanding on North America Life Insurance and Annuities Policy Administration system with strong life insurance domain expertise.
This position is also accepting CyberLife programmer analysts having an understanding on Mainframe as well as microfocus, strong life insurance domain expertise will be an added advantage.
They should either be already functioning as, or if not, should be willing to take up a management position with skills such as resource and budget management. Scrum/Agile/JIRA experience is nice-to-have.
Essential Job Functions:
For Business Analysts:
Policy Administration system understanding and life insurance domain expertise. Ability to lead and negotiate the business requirements sessions, document complex functional and non-functional requirements for new products, system enhancements and modifications.
Work with the Product Manager to understand requirements and priorities and communicate same to the team. Communicate and coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders for the product/business features. Assist in analysis, requirement development and document testing strategy for major enhancements and upgrades.
Work with the engineering leader to deliver in scope items within given timeframe, budget and with quality. Raise flags and risks as and when they arise.
Work with the technical team to grasp the program, job language and internal system functionality, to assist in defining solutions that meet the business stakeholder’s needs
Coordinate on information technology discussions and updates; provide project team member guidance/support throughout the release lifecycle. Provide work guidance and mentoring to less experienced personnel.
Provide estimates and customer demos.
Exposure to DevOps and RESTful concepts is an added advantage.
Experience in Micro Focus Cobol over AWS, and Mainframe environment (Assembler as well as COBOL)
For Programmer Analysts:
Working experience in of Micro Focus Enterprise Products – Enterprise Developer, Enterprise Server, Net Express, Mainframe Express etc.
Having development Experience on Mainframe Platform
Knowledge of COBOL, VSAM, JCL, REXX, CICS
Experience in CyberLife product support, break-fix, maintenance, and new product implementation will be an added advantage
Experience working in a services project for a North American Life Insurance customer
Applying Analytical & Coding skills for designing system changes
Produce Technical documentation covering module level specs, work product reviews, Process improvements and unit test scenarios
Hands on experience with SCM tools like Git for branching, tagging and version management.
Experience with cloud infrastructure of AWS (Amazon Web Services) and computing AMI virtual machines on Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), S3 storage, and Elastic load Balancer, 5+ Autoscaling, etc.
Experience in Legacy to Cloud Modernization projects.
Participation of functional walkthroughs and understand business requirements and the related processing requirements
Understanding of Life Insurance domain is added advantage
Experience of working in Agile teams
Experience of working in onshore-offshore model
Good communication skills
Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, working to resolve issues as they arise.
Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (required)
2. Master's degree in business administration, information systems (or) related field (preferred)
3. 12+ years’ experience working with the interface of information technology with functional groups within the organization, preferably across time zones and geographies.
Other Skills:
1. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
2. Strong negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile model in multiple geographies involving time overlaps
4. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks seamlessly
