A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Cyber Security Vulnerability Operations Manager, reporting to the Senior Manager – Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Operations, where you will join the Cyber Security Practice team.
A bit about your role
This pivotal role is responsible for leading the strategic and operational execution of vulnerability response across nbn’s complex and evolving technology environments. You’ll drive proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation of vulnerabilities, ensuring threats are addressed before they can be exploited.
You’ll serve as the central coordination response point for vulnerability-related intelligence, integrating insights from internal threat research, external advisories, and real-time telemetry. You’ll also develop and refine scoring models, manage exception processes, bring innovation to our tooling and ensure remediation efforts are tracked and reported with transparency.
Collaboration is key – you’ll work closely with cyber operations, infrastructure, application teams, and executive stakeholders to maintain a resilient security posture and respond swiftly to emerging threats.
A bit about you
You bring a strong background in vulnerability management and cyber threat intelligence, with a deep understanding of how threat actors operate and exploit weaknesses in enterprise environments. Your experience includes leading vulnerability response initiatives, applying frameworks such as CVSS and MITRE ATT&CK, and aligning remediation efforts with business risk tolerance. You’re confident in producing strategic and technical reporting for a range of audiences, and you thrive in cross-functional environments where collaboration and continuous improvement are key. Your communication skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities help drive outcomes, and you’re passionate about operational excellence and embedding a high-performance culture.
