Cyber Security Vulnerability Assessment Analyst - Entry

This role primarily supports a Global Vulnerability Management Program, focusing on the lifecycle of security vulnerabilities from identification through remediation. The position is essential for the smooth operation and continuous improvement of security assessments, reporting, and internal coordination. You'll act as a key coordinator and administrator, managing schedules, compiling metrics, assisting with documentation, and facilitating communication across a global team and external partners to enhance the organization's security posture.

What you’ll do

  • Support Global Vulnerability Remediation: Assist the global program by coordinating efforts with partners to identify, report, and remediate security vulnerabilities across the environment.

  • Manage Security Assessment Logistics: Handle the administration of the assessment program, including scheduling, tracking key findings, and compiling reports on identified vulnerabilities.

  • Develop and Maintain Performance Metrics: Assist in the routine development and distribution of weekly and monthly management metrics to monitor program health and progress.

  • Coordinate Team Projects and Documentation: Act as a liaison to coordinate team efforts for new technology adoption and ensure all team documentation is kept up-to-date on set intervals.​


What experience you need 

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent industry experience (1 year or more)

  • Experience working with PCI DSS and other industry standards

  • Ability to communicate technical issues to nontechnical coworkers and remediation owners

  • Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills


What could set you apart

  • Experience creating or validating proof of concept exploits

  • Industry Standard Vulnerability Management Scanning Tool certifications (Qualys, Tenable, etc.)

  • Ability to create scripts or code to automate processes and manual efforts

  • Experience working directly with a SOC or threat intelligence
