Cyber Security Associate Advisor, (Global Initiatives, Strategy and Operational Readiness)
Position Summary:
The Cyber Security Associate Advisor is responsible for providing general technical, operational and risk management support to Cigna's Information Protection (CIP) Global teams. This role will support in enforcing standard information protection controls through infrastructure, application and third-party security assessments. Work with the Cigna Information Protection team as required to support vulnerability assessments, assist with penetration tests, tracking and remediation of findings.
This role will work closely with the CIP teams to identify, evaluate, and remediate potential weaknesses in Cigna’s systems, using both manual and automated methods. In addition, this role will support dashboard reporting, coordination of incident responses, risk assessments and other CIP led initiatives.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
Qualified candidates will typically have 8 - 11 years of professional IT work experience
Relevant 5 years or more work experience in Strategy building, documentation and decks preparation preferably in security operations or security governance, risk and compliance.

Develop strategy for individual regions based on their goals and integrate them into the enterprise strategy.
Tableau Dashboard experience
Effectively lead key initiatives across CIP.
Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement.
Executive report preparations, QBR, MOR
Automation exposure
Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
Act as a strategic liaison to regional leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, which includes the organization, preparation, and presentation of communication and KPI’s
Use photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts adhering to Cigna policies that increase users’ understanding.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements for reporting and analysis.
Perform issue tracking and resolution with local and Global security teams
Work with CIP teams and key stakeholders to manage security incidents.
Assist CIP and IT teams to implement standard security solutions and capabilities that are aligned with business, technology and threat drivers.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in Information security, Strategy and analytics.

Demonstrated ability to work as both an individual contributor and a team player in a fast-paced environment.
Coordinate with people and teams to forecast activity completion and the ability to work in a team environment, sharing workloads and responsibilities.
Excellent presentation skills.
Understanding Security principles and best practices.
Ability to analyze vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, appropriately characterize threats, and provide remediation recommendations.
Knowledge of Strategy Framework.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals and common attacks.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization.
Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics.
Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences.
Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Experience working with engineering teams to improve the user experience: design, UI, and help refine content and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content
