Customer Support Laboratory Specialist

A day at MKS/Atotech 

We are looking for a Customer Support Laboratory Specialist to join our MKS/ Atotech Laboratory in Poznań. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our analytical laboratory operations, supporting both internal teams and external customers through high‑quality analytical investigations, reliable reporting, and technical consultation.

Reporting directly to the Laboratory Manager, you will work in a regulated, safety‑focused environment, using advanced analytical techniques and instrumentation while ensuring compliance with quality standards and best laboratory practices. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in analytical chemistry while working in a collaborative, international setting. 

You will make an impact by: 

  • Performing sample investigations based on internal and external customer requests, including evaluation and reporting of analytical results. 
  • Documenting analytical procedures and tests in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements, as well as maintaining records and archiving related results and documents. 
  • Acting as a contact person and technical consultant for customers on analytical topics. 
  • Ensuring order and cleanliness in the laboratory, including segregation of chemical waste in accordance with national regulations. 
  • Maintaining analytical instruments in line with SOPs and equipment guidelines. 
  • Performing laboratory work in compliance with local quality requirements, applicable procedures, and best laboratory practices. 
  • Following all safety regulations and ensuring safe handling of chemicals, including care for chemical inventory. 
  • Supporting troubleshooting activities. 
  • Ensuring confidentiality of information. 
  • Supporting and training new colleagues, trainees, interns, and student assistants. 
  • Providing required local reporting, including SAP/TCSP, HSE, and other applicable reports. 

Skills You Bring:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field 
  • Fluency in Polish (minimum C1 level) 
  • Communicative English proficiency (minimum B1 level) 
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills 
  • A structured and organized approach to work, with attention to detail 
  • Motivation to follow and maintain high laboratory and safety standards 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Initial experience in analytical chemistry 
  • Very good practical and theoretical knowledge of instrumental analysis
