Transit Team, a proud provider of paratransit transportation services in the Twin Cities metro area, is seeking a compassionate and reliable Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the welcoming voice of our organization, helping riders access essential transportation with care, clarity, and professionalism. Every interaction contributes to our purpose: mobility without limits—because every ride matters.
As a Metro Mobility Customer Service Representative, you will support certified Metro Mobility riders by using a computer-based reservation system to schedule, update, and communicate ride details. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values accuracy, empathy, and excellent customer service.
Saturday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Sunday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Answer incoming calls from Metro Mobility clients with courtesy, clarity, and professionalism.
Schedule ride reservations using our computer reservation system.
Cancel or adjust ride requests based on customer needs.
Provide accurate estimated arrival times (ETAs) and service information.
Make outbound calls to confirm next‑day trips with riders.
Clearly explain Metro Mobility policies, procedures, and service expectations.
Demonstrate a people‑first mindset by ensuring every interaction is caring, helpful, and solutions‑focused.
Ability to pass a nonDOT drug test and background check
Strong verbal communication skills
Solid computer skills and ability to learn new software
Prior customer service and/or call center experience preferred
Familiarity with the Twin Cities metro area is a plus
Ability to work onsite for the scheduled shift
