Key Responsibilities
Greet clients and patients in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
Manage a high volume of incoming phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries
Schedule appointments accurately and efficiently using veterinary practice management software
Verify client and patient information, update medical records, and process payments
Communicate clearly with veterinarians and technicians to ensure smooth patient flow
Handle client concerns with empathy, professionalism, and appropriate escalation when needed
Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area
Follow clinic protocols regarding medical records, confidentiality, and safety
Required Qualifications
Previous experience in the field as a Veterinary Customer Service Representative, Veterinary Receptionist, or Veterinary Assistant (required)
Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution skills
Familiarity with veterinary terminology and appointment types
Proficiency with computers and veterinary PIMS (e.g., Avimark, Woofware, Cornerstone, eVet, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a multi-doctor or emergency/high-volume clinic
Knowledge of basic veterinary workflows and procedures
Bilingual skills a plus

Competitive hourly pay: $19–$23/hour, based on experience
