Are you resilient, empathetic, and motivated to support people during some of life’s most challenging moments? At Sedgwick, Caring Counts—and we’re looking for customer-focused individuals to join our team in a permanent Customer Support Consultant role based in Wollongong CBD.
About the Role
In this frontline role, you’ll support customers as they lodge insurance claims, providing calm, compassionate and professional service when it matters most. Working closely with your Sedgwick colleagues, you’ll ensure customers and clients remain at the centre of everything you do while helping achieve timely and accurate outcomes.
Shift Options
This role operates Monday to Friday only, with shift options of 9:00am–5:00pm or 10:00am–6:00pm.
Training & Hybrid Working
The first two weeks of training will be five days per week in our Wollongong metro office. Following this initial training period, the role will move to a hybrid working model, with three days per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer insurance enquiries via phone and email
Triage incoming calls and coordinate enquiries efficiently
Collect and accurately process key customer information
Deliver high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Maintain professionalism and empathy in sensitive or stressful situations
About You

Competent with basic Microsoft Office applications
