About this role

The Junior Manager, Order-to-Cash (OTC), is responsible for monitoring and improving OTC performance across the assigned market, while driving a strong culture of continuous improvement. This role provides insights into end-to-end process performance—from customer setup in SAP to cash collection—and identifies opportunities to enhance ways of working (WoW) and overall efficiency.

Partnering closely with the OTC Team Lead, the role will own and track key performance indicators (KPIs), support process improvements, and contribute to OTC process design, particularly for transitions into DBSI. In addition, this role plays a key part in building team capability by delivering effective training programs, ensuring the availability of high-quality training materials, and enabling timely, on-demand learning to support consistent and sustainable performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily Sales Order processing and rebates operations
  • Handle urgent and ad hoc transaction requests in a timely manner
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for in-scope processes
  • Review, validate, and resolve errors or changes in Sales Orders
  • Identify process bottlenecks and challenges, and collaborate with the Line Manager on solutions
  • Support and contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Drive resolution of daily order management issues and escalations
  • Act as a point of contact during Business Continuity Planning (BCP) when designated as a critical resource
  • Provide required documentation and support during audit cycles
  • Ensure smooth and accurate month-end closing activities
  • Escalate complex issues to senior stakeholders to support resolution
  • Provide backup support to team members across processes as needed
  • Coordinate and track progress of closing activities to ensure timely completion

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience, or at least 5 years in a multinational environment within Finance or Supply Chain, with strong knowledge of the OTC process
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Fluent in Japanese and business English
  • Proven experience in presentations, both internal and external
  • Experience in project and/or change management
  • Knowledge of training delivery and process documentation
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
