Customer Marketing Manager – On Trade Modern

About the role:
Design and implement strategies that strengthen the position of our brands within the modern on-trade channel. Build joint growth opportunities with strategic customers through segmented and differentiated plans, and  close collaboration with cross-functional teams, enhance sales performance, brand visibility, and consumer experience.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Leverage consumer and shopper insights to shape channel and category plans, working closely with marketing and commercial teams.

  • Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies for the modern on-trade channel, actively tracking financial growth, and innovation opportunities.

  • Build strategic partnerships with key customers, driving “win-win” negotiations and improving the effectiveness of trade initiatives.

  • Define the Route-to-Consumer (RTC) strategy and lead field execution in collaboration with the team.

  • Conduct customer and channel segmentation (restaurants, hotels, key chains) to prioritize resources and develop tailored strategies for high-potential customers.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners to drive integrated business plans.

  • Develop flexible and proactive strategies that reflect the seasonality and tourism dynamics of the modern on-trade channel.

  • Prepare channel performance and investment plans, manage budgets, track KPIs, and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.

  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and competition law principles in all commercial activities.

 

Experience / skills required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum 8 years experience in sales and customer/trade marketing areas
  • Considerable drive, energy, leadership and focus to sufficiently energize the internal and external resources of the company to implement
  • Understands how the total sales organization operates and how to drive effectiveness.
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively internally and externally with good influential and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical, presentation and project management skills.
  • Experience in premium outlet & portfolio management with good understanding of F&B insight
