About the role
Diageo invest significantly in direct to consumer brands building, and we partner with our customers to influence the point of purchase activation. It is the role of the Customer Activation team to understand the needs of shoppers and customers and then build the programmes and tools that guarantee outstanding execution of our brands. We then work directly with customers, supply and agencies to carry out the flawless execution of our commercial calendar. It's all about tailoring and adapting our plan to meet the specific needs of strategically important customers and enable them to differentiate their offer.
As a Customer Activation Executive, you will sit right at the heart of our business, as a business partners to our sales teams to ensure they have all the insight, growth drivers & tools they need to deliver brilliant execution of Diageo’s commercial plan to shift consumer & shopper behavior to achieve Diageo’s financial and market share ambition.
You'll have direct responsibility for all activation within your customer & brand alignment. You will be working with field, national & wholesale commercial teams and alongside the Shopper Marketing brand teams to deliver outstanding activation.
In this role, you will:
Build a 30-60-90 rolling activation plan for our key brands & customer.
Lead the implementation of all the key platforms & activations
To develop and execute invisibility toolkits that make our brands show up brilliantly to customers & consumers.
Be responsible for technical specifications and set up of all new POS items, ensuring we deliver on time every time to our customers.
Ensure customer dedication/nominations are secured within agreed lead times.
Conduct activity M&E to ensure we are constantly improving our plans.
About you
Experience in Sales or Marketing activation
Project Management, Analytical and core selling skills
Time management & prioritisation skills
Can build powerful relationships and work collaboratively within a team
Problem solver & solution-based teammate who can deal with ambiguity & adapt quickly
Proficiency in Spanish and English
