Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities: As an CSfC System Administrator, you will manage and maintain the critical system and server infrastructure supporting Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) systems. The primary focus of this role is ensuring the functionality, security, and compliance of Certificate Authority (CA) servers, the Everfox TTC/TTC-R console, and related system infrastructure while supporting mission-critical operations in classified environments.

  • Operate and maintain CSfC-compliant solutions that meet NSA, DoD, and customer standards.
  • Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • Configure and manage Certificate Authority (CA) servers, including systems such as ISC CertAgent.
  • Administer and maintain the Everfox TTC/TTC-R console, ensuring secure operation and integration with broader system infrastructure.
  • Apply DoD STIGs and implement IAVAs to ensure compliance with cybersecurity and operational requirements.
  • Monitor system health and performance, conducting regular audits and applying patches and updates to maintain security and stability.
  • Troubleshoot server, system, and Everfox TTC/TTC-R console providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for complex problems.
  • Design and implement server configurations to meet NSA CSfC, NIAP, and DoD standards.
  • Document and maintain detailed configuration guides, test procedures, and operational manuals for systems and servers
  • Collaborate with network and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of servers and the Everfox TTC/TTC-R console with the broader infrastructure.
  • Support system integration projects, including installation, testing, and validation of secure communication solutions.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to other team members and end-users on server and system operations, including Everfox functionalities.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned to meet organizational objectives.

Minimum/General ExperienceThis position requires 5+ years specialized experience.  

  • Proven expertise in configuring and maintaining CA servers and managing public key infrastructure (PKI).
  • Familiarity with administering and troubleshooting the Everfox TTC/TTC-R console or equivalent secure management systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly for server and system-level issues in classified environments.

Functional Responsibilities: Applies in-depth knowledge of system and server infrastructure to maintain the availability and security of mission-critical CSfC solutions. Ensures compliance with DoD and NSA standards through regular audits, patching, and system monitoring. Designs and implements robust server configurations, provides technical escalation support, and documents best practices to enhance operational readiness.

Minimum EducationA Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a curriculum or major field of study which is closely related to the work to be automated, and/or in a computer science, information system, a physical science, engineering or a mathematics-intensive discipline.

Education and experience requirements may be substituted with:

1.     A Master’s Degree (in subjects described above) and four years of relevant experience.

2.     No degree and ten years of directly applicable experience.

3.     An applicable certificate of training with two years undergraduate work can be considered equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.

CertificationsSystems Engineer

  • DoD 8140/8570.01M IAT Level II Certification
  • Microsoft Certified Windows Server or equivalent certification.
  • VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent virtualization certification.
  • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Engineer (RHCE).

Additional Requirements: For Germany and positions, candidate must meet TESA requirements as follows: 


Germany:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree and three (3) years of recent specialized experience; or
  • Associates Degree and seven (7) years of recent specialized experience; or
  • No degree and 11 years or recent specialized experience.

Security Clearance required: Secret

Additional Requirements: For Germany and positions, candidate must meet TESA requirements as follows:

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
