About the role:

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying emerging customer needs, working closely with key stakeholders to define and develop new Crushing Technologies, and championing continuous improvement across our existing models. Through strong collaboration and customer focus, you will ensure our solutions not only meet but exceed market expectations, delivering robust, reliable, and high‑performance equipment that creates long‑term value for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identification and prioritisation of new products via the New Product Introduction (NPI) process
  • Integrate the various Product Management activities involved in the introduction of new products within the NPPD (New Product & Process Development) process working closely with the NPPD Manager and design engineering team.
  • Build strong client relationships with end customers and our distribution networks which will include regular visits to obtain direct feedback
  • Research and develop specifications for new products - Conducting research surveys via dealers and customers
  • Evaluate the commercial viability of new products, options, and enhancements by assessing market opportunity, profitability, and return on investment. This will include volume projections, market pricing reviews, contribution assessments, cost forecasts and will involve close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and Finance.
  • Portfolio Management of the Terex Materials Processing Crusher Product Range
  • Prepare and deliver commercial training materials & sales tools to dealers and end-customers including comparisons to major competitors
  • Provide technical application support when necessary to sales teams, dealers and end users.
  • Visit customers and recommend accurate technical solutions & machine performance specifications to propose the most efficient solution to satisfy customer requirements
  • Provide feedback on existing products and services, as well as changes, enhancements and new products and convey information to engineering and marketing team members for research and New Product Development (NPD)
  • Attend trade shows and exhibitions and play an active part in marketing activities as appropriate
  • Have a strong awareness of Competitor activity

Experience & Qualifications

  • A proven track record of successfully managing and launching products, preferably in a similar industry or domain.
  • Significant experience within the mobile crushing or screening industry
  • Experience with the product design process
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing environment
  • Degree educated or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively articulate a product vision to cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills and ability to develop a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with the company's goals.
  • A good understanding of the crushing industry, the various applications that the equipment can operate in, along with an appreciation for the expected performance of the machines 
  • Creative and innovative thinking
  • Ability to prioritize product features and make strategic decisions to drive business growth.
  • Ability to work with others on a cross functional basis to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to investigate root cause of machinery non performance.
  • Can identify risks both technical and commercial with proposed product change or new product
  • Ability to conduct market research, interview customers, analyze competitors, and identify opportunities for product innovation.
  • Adaptable and agile in their approach to handle change, ambiguity, and quickly adjust strategies based on market feedback.
  • Experience with project management is desirable
  • Ability to travel internationally. Estimated International travel 30%
