Join the DB Spain Risk team in Madrid as a Credit Loss Provision Analyst within the Enterprise Risk Management team.

As a key member of the team, you will report directly to the Head of Credit Loss Provisions, where your expertise will drive the calculation, analysis and reporting of DB Spain Credit Loss Provisions. In this role, you will be responsible for calculating and analyzing Credit Loss Provisions (both IFRS9 and Local GAAP), ensuring their accuracy.
We are looking for a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible mindset, ability to work with huge datasets of information (knowledge of SAS is a +), excellent written and verbal communication abilities in both Spanish and English and passion for working in diverse and global environments.

Responsibilities
- Candidate will be responsible for calculating and analysing Credit Loss Provisions (both IFRS9 and Local GAAP), monitoring of portfolios evolution, data quality controls and local interactions. Great attention to detail is needed considering information sensibility. Candidate will also be involved in reporting preparation of Credit Loss Provision figures and should be able to manage close deadlines.
- Ensure that all the credit risk data used in the calculations is accurate, and that any potential change in the information is fully aligned to regulatory requirements, incl. Bank of Spain Circular 4/2017 and IFRS 9 (stages and triggers).
- Local expert for Local GAAP Credit Loss Provision calculation for DB Spain.
- Perform ad-hoc/regular analysis and presentations re. Credit Loss Provision development and outlook and answer to audit and regulator inquiries with accuracy and professionalism.
- Candidate will be required to develop tasks proactively and maintain professional relationships with local and global Risk colleagues, the business areas and other infrastructure teams.
Skills
- We are seeking experienced professionals with strong knowledge in credit risk management, focused on Credit Loss Provisions and strong knowledge of Anex 9 of ‘Circular 4/2017’ from Bank of Spain and IFRS principles for Credit Loss Provisions calculation.
- Deep portfolio analysis and reporting skills with great attention to detail and knowledge of SAS is a +. Strong quantitative and qualitative credit data analysis skills required.
- Background in Business Administration (ADE), Engineering, Science Degree or related fields, with solid knowledge of credit risk management. Strong background in credit risk management, audit or consulting area specialized in credit risk management is desirable.
- Flexible, proactive, results-driven professional with a strong focus on innovation. Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask effectively, and keep an eye for identifying and evaluating processes, controls and risks.
- A highly communicative professional with strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities in both Spanish and English. Capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
