Winter 2026 Supplemental Course Lecturer Position

The Department of Political Science is inviting applications for a course lecturer position to teach in Winter 2026. Please include your Cover Letter and Curriculum Vitae and if applicable a copy of your Study/Work Permit. A brief course outline is optional.


POLI 473-001 Democracy and the Market (3 Credits - CAP 40)
The relationship between economic and political change by focusing on dual processes of economic reform and democratization.

Teaching Qualification Requirements:

  • A completed PhD degree or enrolled in a doctoral program in Political Science or a discipline related to the course;

  • ​​Provide evidence of effective teaching ability as a result of having successfully taught a similar course;

  • ​The candidate's area of specialization must be as close as possible to that of the course being offered;

  • Experience as a teaching assistant for a course is an asset.

Tuesday and Thursday 02:35 pm-03:55 pm, January 5, 2026 – April 14, 2026. Location: RPHYS 115.

Salary: $11,479 per course.
