A DAY IN THE LIFE

Enthalpy Analytical, is part of the larger organization, Montrose Environmental Group, is comprised of over 9 laboratories servicing air, water, and soil testing. Regulations drive the need for our services, but our unique capabilities allow us to add value to clients beyond environmental compliance.

We are looking for a Full-time Courier – Houston, TX        

 

Our Couriers are responsible for picking up samples from customers.  They may also deliver sampling supplies and perform other tasks in support of meeting the expectations of our clients.

 As a key member of the Houston team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:

  • Driving the company vehicle to client locations, delivering supplies to those locations, and returning samples to the laboratory.  
  • Providing courteous, respectful, responsive, and excellent client service to internal and external clients. 
  • Maintaining the company vehicle in optimal driving condition.
  • Maintaining a clean vehicle, both inside and outside.
  • Ability to communication well with the operations manager, project managers, courier scheduler.
  • Drivers must inform their supervisor within 3 days if they are ticketed or arrested for driving related offences outside of work, and immediately if the event happens on the job. 

YOUR EXPERTISE & SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • A driver must be able to lift at least 50 lbs into their vehicle. 
  • A driver must have a driving record that meets the Montrose requirements for operating company vehicles. 
  • Drivers may be subject to screening requirements above those of other employees.

Preferred Skills

  • Good driving and safety skills
  • Courteous and communicative
  • HASC,(Health and Safety Council) training certification preferred
  • TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) preferred
