Responsibilities / Tasks
- Lead, manage and develop the dedicated sales team, project execution and service team for Heating and Refrigeration Solutions within the Nutrition Plant Engineering Business Unit APAC
- Act as Point of contact for Heating & Refrigeration Solutions business unit leadership and key stakeholders
- Support the development and implementation of the BU strategy and enrich these with local insights from customers, markets and local knowledge. Ensure implementation of these plans to drive the business results of GEA
- Be responsible for the sales activities of the assigned division in the country.
- Build and sustain excellent relationships with customers in refrigeration industries and liaise with various stakeholders to maximize market access
- Actively manage key customer accounts to ensure maximum outcome for GEA
- Detail the local division/sales strategy in the country, perform budgeting and execute sales activities
- Help designing the go-to-market strategy and operational plans for the country organization with a focus on the specific division.
- Conduct market analyses, develop the country market and identify potential growth opportunities, incl. expansion of applications
- Define and maintain a clear price/margin strategy and control the sales process
- Ability to recommend the right solutions for the key applications in the Philippines and Validate the technical offers prepared by the application teams before submission to customers
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and local laws. Implement an effective risk management in conjunction with the management team
- Harmonize procedures and activities together with the local sales and service departments present in the country organization
Your Profile / Qualifications
1. Educational Background
Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Management and / or relevant technical discipline
- Specialisation in Industrial Refrigeration preferred
- Experience in designing, selling complex industrial refrigeration solutions to high profile customers in the Philippines
2. Professional Knowledge and Experiences
- Internationally experienced expert in sales and service and general management with a special focus on sales
- Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience
- Strong track record in steering a sales & sales applications organization with a focus on adding sales growth
- Strong track record in steering a country sales organization with a focus on adding sales growth
- Familiarity of working in a manufacturing and engineering company in refrigeration solutions
- Preferably experience with and knowledgeable about legal procedure for restructuring processes of a specific country and sound knowledge of legal requirements pertaining to labor law, Health & Safety, legislation and Commercial regulations
3. Other Skills & Competencies
- English language proficiency is a must
- Analytical abilities, problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills
- Leadership competencies (ability to lead & develop internationally and/or culturally diverse teams, strong top line and target orientation with a strong people orientation
