Job Description:

The Corrugator Process Specialists is the final piece of a multi-phase training strategy aimed to help our customer like nobody else can, and maximize our customer’s use of our equipment, and other equipment as a full system.

This person would have the skills to come into a plant, evaluate the whole plant process, and find strategies for what the customer needs to implement and improve on, so they can run more efficiently, produce higher qualities, and reduce costs.

Position Summary:
Provide high level insight and develop strategies on all parts of the process of all corrugator equipment for our customers.  This will include process training & support of these plants, along with BWP team members on all aspects of corrugator equipment.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform process troubleshooting on BWP and other corrugating equipment.
  • Provide technical and process consultation to customers, onsite and remotely.
  • Conduct operator/process training on existing equipment/plants.
  • Conduct operator/process training on new installations.
  • Conduct corrugator supervisory training.
  • Design, implement, and train on preventive maintenance (PM) programs through our CORR U PRO platform.
  • Have experience with maintenance planning software, preferably job plans and work orders.
  • Experience training entry-level operations and maintenance to mid- to high-level managers on all implemented programs.
  • Provide classroom training to customers and BWP team members.
  • Consult with Design Engineering and Product Managers to provide corrugated operations requirements/feedback to promote continuous improvement in the function & operation of BWP equipment.
  • Create and update tools & materials for process troubleshooting and operational training.
  • Proactively engage customers and develop solutions to help customer accounts improve reliability and performance of their equipment to increase satisfaction and retention of footprints.
  • Promote and encourage the use of all services (Standard Service, Preventive Maintenance, Evaluations, Upgrades, etc.) offered by BWP.
  • Maintain required documentation associated with this position; for both internal company and external customer uses.
  • Frequent travel to customer sites.
  • Evaluate service teams training and resource needs to effectively support customer accounts.
  • Other duties as assigned.
     

Education: 

Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred or technical diploma in electromechanical assembly, or equivalent industry experience.

Experience: 

  • Extensive corrugated process and operational experience required. 
  • Strong customer relationship skills and experience.  
  • Proven communications skills and ability to work with formidable customers.  
  • Extensive experience in troubleshooting BW Papersystems equipment.

Schedule:

This is a regular, full-time position with the understanding that a regular work week will require extended days and hours as needed to meet business needs. In addition, holiday and weekend work is routine for the field service team. Anticipated field time is 60-75%.

Travel:

Extensive travel within North America (USA, Canada, Mexico) region; opportunity for international travel if available and desired. Anticipated travel is 60-75% per year.

Compensation:

The approximate gross earnings pay range for this position is $100,000-150,000 annually. Please note that the pay range is a good faith estimate at the time of posting and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location.
