Job Summary:

Responsible for the direct administration and implementation of the organization’s corporate responsibility program activities for assigned operational units. Responsible for the coordination and administration of effective compliance program elements in accordance with the Office of Inspector General framework and assists leadership in implementing strategic compliance initiatives to identify, prevent, and correct matters of non-compliance.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducts and administers all aspects of compliance program effectiveness including identifying risks, providing guidance and direction in accordance with policies and procedures, facilitate appropriate investigations, education and training in response to detected deficiencies, and report out on data.   
  • Serves as a resource to all departments of assigned entities in establishing methods to improve regulatory and legal compliance and reduce vulnerability to fraud, abuse, and waste.
  • Prepares reports and presentations of compliance program activities and metrics to be used and delivered in executive or board level presentations and updates.    
  • Performs data review and analysis to identify areas of program effectiveness opportunity and other compliance risks that require remediation. Develops recommendations for plans of action to advance the program effectiveness across all elements of performance.
  • Proficiency in creating reports and dashboards with Excel, Word, Power BI, Tableau or other software. 
  • Utilizes project management skills including planning, organizing and monitoring project progress across multiple areas of work. 
  • Utilizes communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively drive action and achievement of program goals across multiple teams. 
  • Maintains knowledge and expertise of the regulatory and compliance landscape and utilize such expertise in the detection of compliance issues, in advising business leaders of risks, in conducting investigations, and all other aspects of compliance program management and operations. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
     

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent years of experience and education

EXPERIENCE

  • Five years' experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.

  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.

  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.

  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

  • Rare climbing.
