Athens Full time

Job Description & Summary

We are a team that sees beyond the surface - bringing confidence where there’s doubt and clarity where there’s complexity. We look for those who connect the dots between assurance and long-term value, shaping thinking and building trusted decisions.

SHAPING TOMORROW

Make a real impact, today, and tomorrow, through work that matters. Here, you will tackle today’s toughest challenges with a future-focused mindset; so our clients turn to us first when it matters most.

Make a real impact

As a Manager in our Corporate Reporting Services (CRS) team in Athens, you will operate at the intersection of technical excellence, professional judgement, and leadership influence. Your role goes beyond solving complex accounting issues, helping to enhance quality and consistency.

In this role, you will:

·       Act as a trusted technical advisor to audit and non‑audit engagement teams, supporting complex and judgement‑heavy financial reporting matters under IFRS and Greek GAAP

·       Contribute to and influence firm‑wide positions and thinking through active participation in the Global CRS network, technical consultations, and IFRS interpretation discussions

·       Take ownership of internal practice development, including the design of guidance, thought leadership, and corporate reporting communications that elevate audit quality

·       Lead and deliver training to internal and external audiences, translating technical complexity into clear, practical insight

·       Collaborate closely with other PwC service lines as a subject‑matter specialist, supporting multi‑disciplinary and high‑profile client engagements

·       Perform pre‑issuance and thematic reviews, providing constructive challenge and insight to engagement teams and Assurance leadership

What you bring matters

·       A university degree in Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, along with a professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, IESOEL).  Candidates close to completion of their professional qualification will also be considered

·       At least six (6) years of relevant experience in audit, accounting, or similar roles, with increasing responsibility and exposure to complex matters

·       Strong technical competence in IFRS, with the ability to apply standards pragmatically in real‑world business contexts

·       The ability to connect accounting outcomes to commercial drivers, supporting sound and defensible decisions

·       Confidence to challenge constructively, provide clear direction, and support teams under pressure

·       A proactive, self‑driven mindset with a genuine interest in developing people and sharing knowledge

·       The interpersonal skills to build trust, influence stakeholders, and lead by example within and across teams
