Position Summary

The Technology Recruiter at Life Time is responsible for delivering best-in-class talent acquisition support for all Technology hiring. This role manages full-cycle recruiting for IT, engineering, product, data, cybersecurity, and other technology functions while maintaining strong, consultative relationships with hiring managers and candidates. The Technology Recruiter will partner closely with Technology leadership to understand hiring needs, talent trends, and competitive market dynamics to ensure Life Time attracts and hires top technical talent.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages full-cycle recruiting for Technology roles, including sourcing, resume review, phone screens, hiring manager interviews, scheduling, offer extension, and negotiation.
  • Proactively sources and builds pipelines of technical talent using advanced Boolean searches, social platforms, talent communities, and networking.
  • Partners closely with Technology leaders to understand team structures, role requirements, and long-term hiring roadmaps.
  • Conducts intake meetings to define search strategy, competencies, hiring timelines, and success metrics for each role.
  • Advises hiring managers on market insights, compensation trends, candidate availability, and competitive intelligence.
  • Collaborates with HR, Compensation, and Training & Development to ensure smooth onboarding and an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Writes and refines job descriptions to align with industry language and role expectations.
  • Maintains expertise in Life Time’s technology stack, business operations, and employer value proposition to effectively engage tech candidates.
  • Participates in TA projects including ATS optimization, employer branding, career website improvements, and process enhancements.
  • Builds strong, trusted partnerships with candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience in corporate or agency environments with a focus on technology roles
  • Demonstrated success filling technical positions (e.g., engineers, developers, analysts, product managers, cybersecurity, IT operations)
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
  • Strong sourcing capabilities and knowledge of modern recruiting tools and platforms

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday preferred)
  • Behavioral interviewing and competency-based assessment experience
  • Understanding of technical skill sets, software engineering fundamentals, and current technology market trends

Pay

This is a salaried position starting at $70,000.00 and pays up to $97,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.
