The Corporate Affairs Manager leads the affiliate’s external engagement strategy, representing the company in all matters related to Corporate Affairs. The role is responsible for shaping policy, legislative, and advocacy initiatives, and for building and maintaining relationships with key external stakeholders. Ensure market access and pricing strategies align with regulatory and policy frameworks, advocate for favorable healthcare policies and reimbursement systems to improve patient access to innovative medicines. Manage external engagement with governments, NGOs, and industry associations to influence health policy and funding priorities.

The Corporate Affairs Manager supervises the Market Access & Pricing (PRA) function, including direct supervision of the Pricing Analyst, ensuring that all PRA activities are aligned with corporate priorities and executed effectively.

Key Responsibilities

I. Corporate Affairs (Primary Focus)

  • Lead and represent the Corporate Affairs function, driving policy and legislative strategy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government, industry associations, payers, patient groups, and media.
  • Analyze and advise on government policy implications for the business.
  • Engagement of scientific organizations leadership for policy related matters (in close collaboration with medical).
  • Media-engagement and media-relation activities.
  • Develop and implement internal and external communications strategies.
  • Enhance Lilly’s brand image and support senior executive visits.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

II. Support of Market Access & Pricing (PRA)

  • Partner the PRA Manager, providing guidance, support
  • Oversee the planning and execution of reimbursement submissions, pricing strategies, and government advocacy.
  • Guide the team in monitoring and communicating external pricing developments.
  • Review and escalate pricing business cases, ensuring compliance and alignment with business objectives.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead advocacy and external engagement at high levels.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
  • High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Education

  • Master’s degree required.

Internal and External Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Medical, Legal, HR, Supply, Regulatory, Financial, and IT teams.
  • Represent the company in governance and industry forums.

Working Schedule

  • 5 working days/week, 8 hours/day.
