UK - LONDON 25 ROPEMAKER STREET 35 HRS Full time

About the Role:

Grade Level (for internal use):

The Team:

The Corporate Actions Sales Specialist sits within S&P Global Market Intelligence's Corporate Actions & Solutions business, partnering closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, and Client Success to help clients manage corporate actions risk and workflows end-to-end. This team is commercially driven, highly collaborative, and focused on bringing market-leading data and SaaS solutions to corporate actions professionals across EMEA.

The Impact:

You will shape and execute the EMEA growth strategy for our Managed Corporate Actions data service and Information Mosaic SaaS solutions (IMActions, IMConnecting, IMAnalytics, IMBridge), expanding adoption with existing clients and winning new business. In this role, you will be expected to lead through influence, connect day-to-day execution to longer-term market direction, and coach/enable others to deliver outcomes—driving measurable revenue results while strengthening strategic client relationships.

What's in it for You:

  • Own a strategically important growth agenda across EMEA with high visibility and opportunity to influence product direction through client feedback.
  • Work with a specialist corporate actions product set spanning managed data and SaaS workflow solutions.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders internally and externally, building trusted relationships at executive level.
  • Develop leadership capability by guiding virtual deal teams, sharing best practices, and elevating sales standards across the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow business and user base across EMEA for Managed Corporate Actions data service and Information Mosaic SaaS solutions (IMActions, IMConnecting, IMAnalytics, IMBridge).
  • Build and execute a regional sales strategy across named accounts, new logo targets, and partner channels, aligned to longer-term market and client trends.
  • Develop and maintain alliances with senior customer management; deliver formal sales presentations and written proposals; negotiate product/solution-based engagements.
  • Drive new business opportunities: prospect, qualify, structure, and close complex solution sales with multiple stakeholders and buying centers.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional "virtual teams" (Product, Marketing, Operations, Solution Consulting) through the full sales cycle, ensuring clear ownership, timelines, and decision points.
  • Form external partnerships that enhance solution content and support revenue growth.
  • Manage and maintain customer and transactional information in Salesforce; provide regular pipeline, forecast, and activity reporting.
  • Stay current on competitor activity and market developments in corporate actions, translating insights into messaging and account plans.
  • Travel to customer locations to support sales efforts and ensure strong awareness of corporate actions requirements.
  • Model leadership behaviours by influencing stakeholders, communicating with clarity, prioritizing effectively across competing deadlines, adapting to change, and coaching others through best-practice deal execution.
  • All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidates will have 10+ years of experience in sales and account management experience with a proven track record of success. Demonstrated ability to win new business ("hunter" profile) and grow strategic accounts in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate actions and financial markets, particularly the operational and workflow impacts for banks, brokers, custodians, and asset managers.
  • Proven ability to build credibility and operate with senior client stakeholders; skilled at influencing decision-makers through value-led storytelling, structured proposals, and negotiation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong listening skills.
  • Strong organization and coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and external deadlines; demonstrates disciplined time management and effective delegation where appropriate.
  • Flexible and adaptable; detail-oriented; comfortable making progress in ambiguity and adjusting approach as market/client needs evolve.
  • Ability to partner effectively across cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations) to deliver outcomes.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of Information Mosaic and/or managed corporate actions data solutions (or closely comparable platforms).
  • Experience working with procurement, operations, and technology stakeholders as part of enterprise buying processes.
  • Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, or German.
  • Demonstrated leadership beyond direct reporting lines (e.g., coaching peers, leading deal strategy, improving sales ways-of-working, or driving cross-team initiatives).
  • Evidence of strategic thinking—linking market trends and client pain points to a long-term territory plan and measurable outcomes.

We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
