Job Description
SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Assistant Dean of the School of Business (SBUS), the Coordinator of Assessment and Continuous Improvement supports the Feliciano School of Business through short- and long-term projects that enhance operational efficiency, maintain AACSB accreditation, and strengthen institutional and student outcomes. The Coordinator collaborates with the SBUS senior management team on data collection, analysis, reporting, and policy recommendations related to assessment, accreditation, and program effectiveness. Responsibilities include contributing to AACSB reports, applications, and surveys, and evaluating processes and outcomes to support data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement across the School.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate the School’s Assurance of Learning (AoL) process by ensuring data is collected at each assessment point, compiling and assessing results, helping to develop strategies for closing the loop on learning outcomes, promoting transparency throughout the accreditation process and encouraging best practices to foster continuous improvement.
Manage the administration, analysis, and reporting of indirect measures to inform continuous improvement efforts.
Assist with research and data gathering for ad hoc data requests
Maintain confidential databases by ensuring accuracy, tracking departmental statistics on faculty qualifications and sufficiency, and developing annual impact reports.
Develop and maintain tracking systems to monitor progress toward strategic priorities, accreditation standards, and School initiatives (e.g., experiential learning, professional credentials, etc.), ensuring accurate reporting and accountability.
Provide relevant institutional data to inform decision-making within the Feliciano School of Business.
Coordinate special initiatives and projects (e.g., PRME, Success Coaches, etc).
Support undergraduate programmatic and curriculum administration initiatives for traditional, online, Bloomfield, and special programs (e.g., offsite, Summer Bridge, etc).
Stay up-to-date with current and future regulations, develop programs and practices to help meet guidelines, monitor these practices and maintain all records required to certify and maintain accreditations.
Maintain knowledge and currency through self-directed professional reading, developing professional contacts with colleagues, attending professional development courses, and attending training and/or courses.
Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business or a related field.
Minimum of three years of professional experience in higher education or related work involving project management, process implementation, data analysis, reporting, or budgeting.
Demonstrated experience in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform decision-making.
Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights and reports.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently and collaboratively.
PREFERRED:
Working knowledge of at least one data analysis or visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SPSS).
Master’s degree from an accredited university in Business, Data Analytics, Higher Education, or a related field.
Experience with AACSB accreditation processes or other academic accreditation frameworks.
Familiarity with assurance of learning, assessment tools, or institutional research.
Knowledge of student information systems (e.g., Banner), learning management systems (e.g., Canvas), and survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics).
Experience creating dashboards or reports to support continuous improvement and strategic planning.
