The Marketing & Events Coordinator supports the Daveler & Kauanui School of Entrepreneurship (DKSOE) by coordinating and assisting with marketing campaigns and events for the school’s programs and institutes. The coordinator helps highlight the school’s impact and promotes its initiatives to expand reach, engagement, and awareness. This role performs a variety of administrative, logistical, operational, and technical tasks that strengthen marketing efforts and supports leadership in making informed decisions.

Job Description
Typical duties may include but are not limited to:
- Coordinates and provides input in the design, development, and implementation of marketing, media outreach, and student recruitment campaigns that support DKSOE programs in alignment with university’s marketing initiatives.
- Collaborates with University Marketing & Communications and other University stakeholders.
- Supports the development of marketing materials, presentations, and engaging narratives to connect with target audiences and foster community engagement.
- Coordinates logistics for events, competitions, camps, and conferences ensuring smooth operations in collaboration with DKSOE.
- Collects, organizes, and analyzes data from activities, events, and outreach efforts to support internal reporting of rankings, and fundraising efforts.
- Tracks marketing and event expenditures, assists with purchasing and billing and ensures alignment with budget guidelines.
- Maintains alumni engagement by coordinating communications, events, and outreach initiatives.
- Maintains and updates the DKSOE website and produces print and digital publications such as brochures, flyers, newsletters, and announcements.
- Develops, administers, and analyzes methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data.
- Monitors production workflows.
- Conducts research on trends, employment recruitment activities, and related resources that may impact student employability and success.

- Supports onboarding, scheduling and supervision of student workers or interns as needed.

Required Qualifications
- This position requires either four years of directly related full-time experience or, as an alternative, a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization.
- Experience operating a personal computer and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook).
- Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Four years professional full-time experience in marketing, communications, or related field.
- Experience with audio or multi-media production, communications or marketing project management, graphic design, writing, photography, print layout and design, print production, or social media design.
- Experience working in higher education.
- Experience in running engagement campaigns on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, Google MyBusiness, or other relevant platforms.
- Proficient in managing Social Media and using modern design tools such as Adobe Suite & Canva.

- Skill in public speaking and delivering presentations to individuals and groups.
