Responsible for providing business performance analysis, reporting and forecasting as an independent contributor. Also responsible for providing a variety of financial data and maintaining and updating financial models and plans. Reports financial analysis to senior management in support of functional business objectives. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

Core Responsibilities
- Budget Development & Maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of expenses and apply sound accounting practices
- Assist in the ongoing management of departmental budgets
- Track budget performance, identify variances, and escalate potential risks
- Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Develop and maintain financial reports to monitor investment activity
- Analyze financial data to extract meaningful insights and trends
- Data Management & Systems Use
- Work with accounting systems and reporting platforms to extract and reconcile financial data
- Uphold strong data hygiene practices, including version control and documentation
- Utilize Excel and other tools to analyze and visualize financial data
- Communication & Collaboration
- Prepare clear and concise materials for financial presentations
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support financial operations
- Attention to Detail & Problem-Solving
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial documentation and reporting
- Prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
- Identify inconsistencies in financial data and/or processes
- Proactively contribute to process improvements and troubleshooting efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel
- High attention to accounting accuracy, expense tracking, and process compliance/documentation
- Competence in developing and maintaining budget plans
- Ability to monitor budget variances and flag risks
- Familiarity with accounting systems and data reporting tools
- Strong data hygiene and version control practices
- Ability to synthesize financial concepts, processes, and priorities clearly for stakeholders
- Ability to communicate effectively and proactively with internal and external partners
- Ability to effectively prioritize concurrent projects
- Ability to identify consistencies in financial data or processes
- Proactive mindset in troubleshooting and process improvement
